Apple Hill

Apple Hill is up in Camino CA, u can go up there and pick fruits that are ripe during different seasons. I cant explain the feeling i get when i go up there no matter what time of the year it is. June to July is Blueberry season, July is Cherry (very short), Blackberries/Raspberries are late July to September, and Apples are October to December. I love going to Apple Hill to pick my fresh fruit and get some extra goodies while I'm up there.

Tough Mudder

This is a test of strength, agility, mental, & team work. The course was at North Star Ski Resort in Truckee, CA. This event consisted of 11 miles & 20 Obstacles you had to go through. Some obstacles were fun, some were just crazy, and some were there to push u mentally and work together as a team.

After the "Artic Enema" was just in a 5ft pool full of water/ice go under a slab of wood 2 feet underwater and come up through 2 feet of ice. COLD, HARD, couldn't move my legs- kendall had to pull me out of the pool

We finished!!!! There were so many different obstacles to go through, 15 feet jump into cold water,log jumps, arctic enema, barbwire army crawl, Berlin wall, carrying a big logs about 1/2 mile, electric shock. We all completed the Tough Mudder Challenge together. We loved it and are pumped and ready to go for next year.

Kendall's Testing/School

2012 has been quite an eventful year! April 2011 Kendall got into Paramedic School at Sacramento State. After his didactic portion in school,he then proceeds to intern at the hospital, and then intern on a Ambulance.

First day of internship at Kaiser Roseville ER for 280hr Jan-2012

First Day on his Internship with American Legion in Pine Grove CA, for 580hr may-2012 Kendall really enjoyed & respected his preceptor he learned so much from him. All that is left is Kendall needs to take his National Registry test for his Paramedic License. **Kendall has had the luxury of being able to test all over California. (info to follow)

Currently Kendall is working at Rescue Fire Department! He has got his Class B license and he is LOVING driving the Fire trucks & Fire Engines

In 2006 All of girls went to the Singles Ward together, We all became so close that we all got an apartment with each other. Overtime we all went our separate ways mission, marriage, but all stayed in contact with each other.

We all came together for Tia's Baby shower. It was so nice to see everyone again

Hiking

We live in the most beautiful place in Northern California. Our Sierra mountains are breath taking. Hiked to the top of Horsetail Falls and enjoyed lunch together.

Brittany's first 1/2 marathon

At Mile 9 and going strong. ** Finished in Raley Field in Sacramento, what and awesome experience. A week before this race i was out on a run and had a accident. Needed Physical Therapy and a MRI, working my knee to be strong again and itching to get out there and race again.

Each year our family switches off on Holidays this year was the "SMITH'S" year so instead of gifts we all decided to go on a vacation TOGETHER!

Found a small path not traveled much hidden in the trees where it led us to this amazing spot "Queens Bath"- It was just wide open to the ocean and filled lava beds full of water

We found this waterfall that is safe to jump off of -but the water was flowing to fast that time of year, it wasn't safe :( but sure was beautiful to see & fun to explore. *** On Christmas morning we went for a bike ride along the ocean. We ate lunch with the locals that was serving a turkey dinner for anyone whom wanted to eat, super nice people. Then for dinner had fresh seared AHI so delicious. Cant wait to go back

Carnival Cruise

So while Kendall was in Fire Academy we missed our 1st Anniversary :( and for those 6 months i didn't see him, we definitely needed time together and he Graduated Fire Academy. We truly needed a reliable car and Kendall had been drooling over a Tundra for forEVER. So we went to Folsom lake Toyota and went to just take a look.................. couple hours later we left driving one home :)

Kendalls Fire Academy 2009-2010

Getting into California Regional Fire Academy was quite a process, applying, interviews, testing, but he got it. The academy is about a 6month program and he learned so much and he got to meet so many people that he has become close with now.
